Sara Putt Associates is the leading UK independent agency representing behind the camera technical and production talent, from Producers and Directors through Heads of Department and Crew. For more than 30 years we have assisted our clients with securing work, building networks and career strategy. We are committed to supporting new and diverse talent through the unique Sara Putt Associates Trainee Scheme and Foundation. In 2021 alongside sister agencies Sayle Screen and The Artists Partnership we established The Partnership Group. Between us we represent above and below the line talent behind and in front of the camera, all with similar values, enabling us to work together to maximise opportunities for all of our clients.

Sara Putt
Sara established Sara Putt Associates in 1989 and has worked here as MD and Agent ever since. In 2021 The Partnership Group was formed between Sara Putt Associates, Sayle Screen and The Artists Partnership to maximise opportunities for all of their clients. Sara is Chair of BAFTA where she has been a Trustee since 2014. Sara is also a Trustee of the Film and TV Charity and sits on the Advisory Board of the British Film Commission. She was previously Deputy Chair of Women in Film and Television where she served on the Board for 8 years. Sara has also produced a number of short films including the BAFTA nominated “Tattoo”.

Kate Watson
Kate has worked with Sara for over 25 years helping to build up the Agency. She represents clients in both film & TV drama and has built up a steady list of great people; representing a number of departments including; 1st ADs, Editors, Costume Designers, Sound Mixers, Hair & Make-up Designers & Stunt Co-Ordinators.


Laurily Adams
After graduating university Laurily worked within the video research department at ITV, followed by a stint with a touring theatre company. While working as a junior booker at London based model agencies ‘Rage’ & ‘Ugly’, she became interested in being a talent agent. In 2009 Laurily joined Sara & Kate as an office assistant, and is now an established agent, representing experienced Heads of Department as well as technicians.
Nicola Lees
Nicola provides career development workshops for our annual intake of 25 Trainees. She also runs our Foundation Scheme, which talent scouts people who are not eligible for our Foundation Scheme and/or are excluded from other industry schemes due to age, experience etc. She currently has 100+ people working in all grades from entry to HoD and across HETV/Film, unscripted and corporate.



Nia Hughes
Nia brings with her a wealth of knowledge, having previously worked representing freelance crew members as a London Production Division official at BECTU. With a background in fine arts, and a strong queer identity, Nia will focus on nurturing a diverse portfolio of clients as well as emerging grades within the industry.
Kelly Spearman
Kelly started off as a runner, working on productions out of Pinewood, Shepperton, Leavesden & Ealing Studios. She widened her industry experience working for ARRI & Visual Impact before joining Sara Putt Associates as Sara’s PA in 2017. She now runs SPA Crew, looking after a varied range of technicians who work across film & TV drama, as well as commercials. A key contact for those on our trainee scheme whilst also working with Nicola & the Sara Putt Foundation.


Melissa Hill
Melissa joined Sara Putt Associates in 2019, first as an office assistant before transferring into client accounts. She is responsible for the smooth running of client payments and a central member of the team. In addition to her day job, Melissa ran production accounts on short film ‘To Have and To Hold’ for Warner Media in 2022. She maintains excellent relationships with her peers, clients & Production Accountants.

Brenda Coxon
Brenda brings with her a wealth of industry experience and provides fantastic back up for Melissa. Her credits include Production Accountant on: – ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, ‘V for Vendetta’, ‘The Borrowers’ as well as a number of the Harry Potter films.


Ellice Read
Ellice is the third generation in her family to work at Shepperton Studios. She has a strong administrative background and is a central member of the Sara Putt team. In addition to being Office Manager, Ellice is Sara’s PA and therefore in charge of wrangling Sara’s diary – which is no mean feat! When Sara is out and about she is also the point of contact for all Sara’s clients.
Kiera Taylor
Kiera joined the Sara Putt team in 2022. She finished school gaining A levels in English, Law & Sociology before going on to work at a local solicitors firm & UPS in customer service. She has a keen eye for detail & is in charge of all client paperwork, working closely with accounts to ensure productions have all necessary paperwork for clients.


Olamide Ajisafe – Events & Socials: Foundation Team
Olamide assists Nicola & curates a year-round schedule of socials and events (Q&As, screenings, theatre, scratch nights etc) to build and support network of creatives. She’s previously created outreach events for Radio 1/1Xtra to encourage young people to pursue creative careers and currently works as a Director’s Assistant in HETV/film and an Assistant Director in theatre whilst also working on her own creative projects.
