The BAFTA Film Awards nominations were released this morning and we are so excited to see so many fantastic films duly noted.

Steven Speilbergs 'Lincoln' leads the way with the most nods, however not far behind is Tom Hooper's 'Les Miserables' and Ang Lee's 'Life of Pi' with 9 nominations each.

We are delighted to see 'Anna Karenina', 'Les Mis', 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' and 'Skyfall' all nominated in the Outstanding British Film category (among other categories).

Alan Stewart was the 2nd unit DoP on Anna Karenina which starred Kiera Knightly and Jude Law and was directed by Joe Wright.

Camera/Steadicam Operator Vince McGahon operated on Tom Hooper's 'Les Mis' which is released in cinemas this week.

Sam Mendes' 'Skyfall' Julian Morson (Camera/Steadicam Operator) worked on, as did Fran Crowder (Hairdresser).

Al Rae (Camera/Steadicam Operator) and Mike Taylor (Sound Assistant) both worked on 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel', which starred Dev Patel, Bill Nighy, Judy Dench and Maggie Smith
