David Frew Post Producer, Co-Producer, Producer

I am a HETV Producer/Co-Producer overseeing post production and VFX departments. I have worked with various US studios and broadcasters including: Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Sony TV, Stars and New Line Cinema. I am well versed in the US Showrunner led model. Specialising in large VFX projects (3000+ shots), shooting in multi country locations, I have overseen a number of flagship studio shows and fantasy book adaptations including: Wheel of Time (Season 1 to 3), His Dark Materials (Season 1 & 2), Outlander (Season 1 to 4). Being involved in projects from the early stages of prep means helping to budget post/VFX, build teams, design workflows, and overseeing the design, build and set up post production facilities at studios including Jordan Studios Prague (Wheel of Time), Wardpark Studios Scotland (Outlander), Wolf Studios Wales (His Dark Materials). In addition to overseeing post production show side, I spent 4 years as Managing Director of a Post Production facility and 8 years in the BBC overseeing Post Production and Delivery. This provided invaluable insight and experience of broadcaster and vendor workflows, efficiencies, rates, QC and delivery which is of significant benefit to scheduling and budgeting projects.
