Liz joined the BBC from university and worked her way through the ranks to 1st Assistant Director then Script Editor, before landing her first producing role. It was on her first feature, 'From Time to Time' that she started her collaboration with Julian Fellowes, which then led to their partnership on 'Downton Abbey'. Winner of a Primetime Emmy, a Bafta, a Golden Globe and the Producers Guild of America Award, Liz has produced all 6 series of 'Downton Abbey' which has sold in 240 territories around the world & is the most successful British drama export of all time. She has gone on to produce the 'Downton Abbey' movie, which hit the number one spot in both the UK and the US on it's opening weekend, followed by 'Downtown Abbey: A New Era' along with Gareth Neame. In 2000 Liz exec produced the 6-part mini series 'Belgravia' for ITV.
