Working with both new and established writers, interviewing & hiring directors on Casualty.  Attending script and story meetings, giving extensive notes on all drafts of scripts / storylines. Active Creative Lead in all episodes from original idea, through script development, casting, production and post production.  Experience of managing production on diverse locations and in studio; stunts including falls, fights, explosions and crashes and managing cast & crew during the Covid crisis and crewing shortages.

‘THE SCAPEGOAT’ for ITV with Charles Sturridge (Writer / Director). Working with emerging and established writers to create, develop and produce a slate of commercial television drama and film projects. Writers included Dominic Minghella, Mick Ford, Lisa Holdsworth, Shaun Duggan, Simon Burke, Rachel Flowerday, Sasha Hails, and Chris Murray. Experience of the entire scripted process from original idea, through development, commission, financing, production, post & delivery. Raising and managing budgets of up to £2m. Gained a commission and produced an acclaimed film for ITV. Scouted a writers room for high-budget US TV series; identified, acquired, packaged and pitched many drama ideas, and negotiated options, script deals & shopping agreements. Detailed notes given throughout development process for all scripts on the slate. Played an active script-editing role in addition to a strong creative lead on all projects as a Development Exec. As a short film producer, has experienced all aspects of production and enjoys spotting and supporting emerging talent.

Chief administrator of the company and reported regularly to BBCW. Managed a team developing a slate of drama & comedy series for television with a range of established and emerging writers. Negotiated deals and attached writers and talent to each project. Created pitch documents & pitched our slate to commissioners. Developed a strong relationship with broadcasters, authors, writers, agents, and distributors. Also developed script editing skills.

Working extensively on high-profile films, theatre and television series for leading independent production companies, broadcasters and studios. Liaising with agents and actors to bring talent into the room, and then working closely with producers and directors to make casting decisions. Negotiating deals and managing cast budgets on a range of projects, whilst continuing to have excellent relationships with talent agents and actors in the UK and USA.
