The Grierson Trust’s new entrant training scheme, Grierson DocLab is back for its 10th year! It will support 12 successful trainees as they embark on the early stages of their careers in factual TV and documentary.
The scheme seeks UK-based new entrants aged 18-25 with a passion for docs to apply for this prestigious programme, which offers intensive training, a bursary-supported work placement at a production company, a full industry pass to Sheffield Doc/Fest, an industry mentor match, continued professional development and much more.
The Grierson Trust has an established track record of supporting under-represented groups in the factual TV industry and therefore particularly encourage applications to all schemes from: those from lower socio-economic backgrounds; disabled people; those from ethnic minority backgrounds; people from the LGBTQ+ community.
