House of Fraser 2015 British Academy Television Awards Nominations Announced

Nominations for the “House of Fraser 2015 British Academy Television Awards” were announced today by actor Freddie Fox and Sherlock star Amanda Abbington. We would like to wish luck to all of those nominated, especially the shows worked on by our clients.

Twelve different productions worked on by our clients last year have been nominated including Marvellous (Tracie Wright – Line Producer, Nick Girvan – Locations Scout) and Murdered by my Boyfriend (Dylan Voigt – Production Sound Mixer, Ben Jeffes – Boom Operator) which are up for the Single Drama award.

Up for best Mini-Series are Cilla ( Lisa Hall – Production Designer, Mark Fenn -1st AD), The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies (Fraser Barber – Sound Recordist, Maggie Chapelhow – Costume Designer, Jo Vale – 2nd Boom Op) and Our World War (Peter Oliver – Editor)

Cilla is also nominated in the Radio times Audience Award which is voted for by the public, alongside  The Missing (Fiona Colbeck – Editor), Game of Thrones (Tim Porter – Editor, Raphi Hill – Assistant Editor), The Wrong Mans (Rupert Ivey – Sound Recordist) and Sherlock (Mark Hedges – 2nd unit Director, Lee Sharp 2nd – Boom Operator)

In the Drama Series category Happy Valley ( Vince McGahon – Camera Operator Dailies) and The Missing go up against Peaky Blinders (Mathew Patnick – Line producer, Rupert Ivey – Sound Recordists, Lee Sharp – Boom Operator

The final two nominated productions worked on by our clients, Detectorists (Danny Bishop B Camera/Steadicam Operator) and Harry and Paul’s Story of the Twos (Tom Hannibal – Assistant Editor), are competing for the Scripted Comedy award.

The ceremony will be held at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London on Sunday 10th May and will be hosted by Graham Norton.
