RTS West of England Awards

On Sunday the 6th of March the Royal Television Society’s West of England Awards will take place.

The judge’s nominations for this year include a number of our clients and their work:

Fraser Barber is nominated for Best Sound for The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies which was also nominated for Best Television Drama, Best On Screen Performance, Best Cinematography and Best Editing.

The sound team on Wolf Hall that included Simon Clark, (Sound Recordist) Steve Peckover, (Boom Operator) and Jo Vale (Second Boom Operator) have also been nominated for Best Sound. Wolf Hall’s nominations also include Best Television Drama, Best Director, Best Onscreen Performance, Best Composer, Best Cinematography and Best Editing.

David Thrasher is nominated for Best Editing for his work on Cider with Rosie which was also nominated for Best Television Drama, Best Director and Best On Screen Performance.

Poldark, which was worked on by our clients Ed Moore (2nd Unit Director of Photography) and Thomas Shawcroft (Camera Trainee), has been nominated in six categories. These are for Best Television Drama, Best on Screen Performance, Best Sound, Best Composer, Best Cinematography and Best Editing.
