Following celebrities uncovering the war records of their parents and grandparents and being shocked by how much they kept to themselves, secrets are forever lurking in brown envelopes ready to move audiences to tears.
The series begins with Chris Tarrant who's father won the Military cross and Lisa Faulkner learns how her grandfather was one of the unsung heros of the Battle of Britain.
